  From Mr. Woodworth....

Hello Schultz Families

With inclement weather quickly impacting our school days, we would like to remind all of our families of a couple policies and procedures for building visits to ensure safety and security for all:
  • Please continue to sign-in and take a visitor sticker.
  • When joining your child(ren) for lunch you are able to remain for outdoor recess, but during indoor recess we are not able to allow parents to remain in classrooms for safety and security reasons.
  • We have restrooms available in the office for our staff and adult visitors to use whether visiting or volunteering.
  • New volunteers should complete a brief training with Mr Woodworth.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support and active involvement in your child(ren)'s learning and Schultz elementary! We thoroughly support all that you do!

Destination Imagination  (DI) is a volunteer-led, organization. Team members work together to develop a solution to one of 7 open-ended challenges and present their solutions at tournaments. Through the Challenge program, students learn and experience the creative process from imagination to innovation and learn skills needed to succeed in school, career and life, including teamwork, communication, project management, perseverance, creative and critical thinking, and self-confidence. If you are interested in leading a team at Schultz Elementary, please contact Miss DeLong at Delongsa1@delawarecityschools.net or  (740) 833-1405.

Save yourself a trip to the dentist this year!

Mobile Dentist is coming to Schultz, Thursday  12/14/2017.

Children should see a dentist 2 times every year and brush at least 2 times a day.  Teeth pain can affect their performance at school, help your kids be successful!
Permission slips are coming home; return them to the school by  Tuesday, 11/21/2017
