NEW IFNA INITIATIVE "WHO ARE YOU FROM?"

The Opening Keynote at the 13th International Family Nursing Conference (IFNC13) was offered by Dr. Martha Driessnack, Oregon Health & Science University, USA. She highlighted the importance of family stories and provided a compelling argument based on research, including genomic evidence, to support the positive influence family stories have on resilience and well-being in children and older adults.

In the interest of building relationships and fostering community among IFNA members, you are invited to share your own family story with an emphasis on how it has influenced you as a family nurse and informed your family nursing scholarship and practice.

Your personal family story will be posted on the IFNA blog as a regular feature.

Please Use the IFNA Listserv
Did you know that you have access to IFNA members from around the world through a group email?  All IFNA members can post a question to the IFNA listserv or share family nursing information, resources, and announcements.

The IFNA listserv can be accessed by using this email address: [email protected].
When sending a message, please be sure to include your personal contact information so that members can respond to you directly. Please do not "reply all" to listserv messages; doing so often causes multiple, and sometimes unnecessary, emails to ALL members.
