GON TEAM WORKING HARD TO PRODUCE:

Gathering of Nations production teams are busy at work planning for the 2018 Gathering of Nations Pow Wow.  Going into the second year in the new venue at Expo NM brings new ideas and excitement.  The expansion of  the Pow Wow grounds has given GON the room to expand.  In 2017 the Tee Pee Village was the first new addition which  provides a quiet place...a place of serenity and relaxation in the day and evening.  
Gathering  of Nations is very excited about the next addition, of the Native Horse and Rider Regalia Parade. The Horse culture  among tribes is growing smaller each year. However remains a mainstay with many tribes throughout the  Northern Plains and the North West Regions of the U.S.A. 
At the 2018 Gathering of  Nations Pow Wow we will Honor the Traditions of these Tribes and the Horse Culture by featuring the Horse Parade and  competition each  day of the powwow. Participants from all tribes are welcome and encouraged to participate.  Information  is available on the Gathering of Nations Website.

Just for the Holidays The Gathering of Nations has decided to open up the advanced ticket sales b eginning Wednesday, November 22nd at 2:00pm (1400) Central Time. 
Advanced tickets for the 2018  Gathering of Nations Pow Wow and Miss Indian World Traditional Program will go on sale on the  Gathering of Nations Website.  Get your tickets early as they are great stalking stuffers for the Holidays!
