How to help your student learn
Tips for Success!
Tips for Students
October signals the end of the first quarter, which means it is time for some final assessments to see what students have learned. Testing can bring a wide range of emotions to all students, so what are some things students can do in order to show what they really know?
  • Have a positive attitude: assessments might be tough, but you can it!
  • Get to bed early: student's brains and bodies need sleep to function well
  • Don't skip breakfast: eating a solid breakfast will be fuel for the test
  • Take your time: tests are not a race, every question matters

Teacher Spotlight
What a team!!

Teacher/Staff Spotlight
Dedicated, hard working, compassionate, caring, a dependable teammate, colleague, and friend. These are just a few of the many amazing qualities DeeDee Jimision delivers to her students and our Pataskala family on a daily basis. Mrs. Jimison went to multiple professional development opportunities over summer break both here at Pataskala and outside of our district. When teachers needed a hand moving into their classrooms, Mrs. Jimison was always there to assist. New staff members have sung her praises for the time she has dedicated to their support. Walk into her classroom, and you will hear her singing new Math lessons with her students. The commitment to her students and our school building is incredible. Mrs. Jimison's students are lucky to have her and we are grateful for all she does at Pataskala Elementary!
