Dear Parents,

Thank you to all who came out on Parent Night ! It was so wonderful to see everyone! It was a joy for me to formally introduce our staff to our parents, share our Aspire scores (did you see those writing scores?!), and highlight the physical plant improvements, such as our new Innovations Room . Guest speaker Kristin Ziemke shared her year-long work with our teachers to help integrate meaningful technology use as an augment to learning in the classroom. Lastly, we proudly unveiled our theme for this year, "Go Make a Difference," with our newest school video. From our collective efforts with the Soup-er Stadium Challenge , our Hurricane Relief collections to our Walk 4 Water fundraiser, we want to instill the need for our children to use their talents to change the world around them. Our children are learning about themselves and how to unleash their potential to make a difference in this world, which is at the root of why education matters so much.

Keep an eye on the school calendar , for October has several fun fall field trips for many classrooms and a brand new Fall Family Fest s cheduled for October 27 th ! We hope to see many of our early childhood and primary grade families participate in this new event.

September's school-wide theme centered around global awareness and access to clean water. October will have us focusing on the themes of peace, Saint Therese, Anti-Bullying, All Saints Day, and All Hallow's Eve.

Mid-term marks will be released October 23rd. Be sure to view your child's progress on PowerSchool . While there are on-on-one conferences at the end of the trimester, if you would like to reach out to your child's teacher before then to better understand a grade, please do so.

Teachers, Staff and Families Enjoy Back to School Bash

Fun was had by all at the Back to School Bash! We had a wonderful blessing of the faculty and staff, a celebration for Fr. Li's birthday, followed by bouncing, game playing, and plenty of giggles. It was a great kick off to the 2017-2018 school year!

Great Turnout for Annual Parent Night

Thank you for attending the 2017-2018 Parent Night event! Attendees had the opportunity to meet their classroom teachers, experience the improvements around school, and hear from our wonderful Keynote speaker. Ms.  Kristin Ziemke is an Author, Educator, and Innovator. She led the night with an inspired presentation on collaborative learning and using technology to further student learning. 




St. Therese Studen ts Raise Money For Those in Need

Some of our St. Therese students used their entrepreneurial spirit to sell lemonade and cookies on a hot Sunday. They profited $800 which they then turned around and donated to the Catholic Relief Fund to help those impacted by the earthquake in Mexico, Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. What a way to make a difference!


Introducing the New Innovations Room

If you visited us for the Parent Night on Sept. 25th, hopefully you had a chance to walk through the school's new Innovations Room. It's a sight to be seen, with flexible seating, a fully loaded Mac Lab, two smart boards, robots, games, and so much more!
