Weekly Letter From Our Pastor

Sunday Church:  "Overcomer:  Apathy"
The bumper sticker on the car stopped in front of me at the red light this week said it all:  "Sorry.  It's not my day to care!"
Apparently Jesus ran in to folks who had similar thoughts, because one day he told a story about a traveller who was victimized by criminals and left to die on the side of the road.  His luck went from bad to worse when one person after another walked right on by without so much as lifting a finger to help.
This weekend we'll be digging into that story in Luke chapter 10, as we explore a growing trend of our time:  apathy.  Some have said ours is the most apathetic generation in modern history.  Is that true?   If it is, what counsel does God's word give about addressing and correcting that trend?  When does it become our, 'day to care?'
Join us this weekend as we raise these questions and a few others during part two of this Fall's preaching series, "Overcomer:  Apathy."

Living for Jesus!

-Ned

Meet the Living Water Family of the Week
Names: S
hane, Jess, Madelyn,   Frankie, Gatlin, Kendal & Evan Robel

Something interesting about our household:
We are the typical blended family. We have his, hers, and now an ours. Recently Shane adopted Madelyn and Gatlin. We are always on the go with the kids to their various sporting events. We not only cheer on our kids, but love cheering on The Comets, Packers and Brewers.
How we became connected to Living Water:
Jess works with Christine Ebner, and she would take about the church and the various activities, and how laid back it was. We had been trying other churches, but none of them felt right.
What we like about Living Water:
We love that Living Water is growing, but still is smaller; that it feels like home. Everyone is so welcoming, inviting, and relaxed.  Paster Ned does a wonderful job with having his weekly message connect to everyday life in the now.
