H-F FYI - Nov. 15, 2017

Message from the Superintendent

H-F Parents & Students -
We have had a busy quarter filled with student achievements, athletic contests, performances and special events. We have celebrated Homecoming, honored our Students of the Quarter and National Merit students, and enjoyed many opportunities to come together to cheer on our students on the field and stage. Parents and community members came together at facility planning meetings, and many of our students will gather together at this weekend's Operation Snowball retreat, where they will have a chance to meet new lifelong friends.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you - our H-F families - for your continued commitment and support of our school. It is with your help and encouragement that our students can continue to reach their full potential and continue to grow as individuals. A special thank you to those who took a few minutes to complete the Fine Arts Facility Expansion Survey; if you haven't yet had a chance to provide your input, the survey will be open until Friday, Nov. 17. Please click here...

As the second quarter rolls along, we are preparing for next week's holiday: Thanksgiving. School will start and finish regular times on Monday and Tuesday, and begin at the regular time on Wednesday, then we will dismiss students early that day (1:20 p.m.) for the holiday. To help celebrate Thanksgiving, our talented Viking Choir will be performing for the greater H-F community during the annual Community Thanksgiving Service on Wednesday, Nov. 22, at 7:30 p.m. at Infant Jesus of Prague Church - all are welcome.

From our H-F family to yours, have a safe and relaxing Thanksgiving holiday!

- Superintendent Dr. Von Mansfield
