Now that the weather has finally returned to seasonal temperatures, it feels like fall! The leaves are starting to turn shades of yellow, orange, and red, the air is cool and crisp, and everything tastes like pumpkin spice!

Senses affect so much of our daily lives, but how often do we actually stop and tune into them? Pausing and focusing on the present moment is called mindfulness, and research shows it can have some really great health benefits like lowering your risk for cancer, stroke, pain, anxiety, depression, and sleep problems.

Let's take a few minutes this month to practice mindfulness - incorporating both journaling and our senses!
Step 2 Journaling Exercise
