In the name of Christ, we embrace all people to be nourished and empowered by the Holy Spirit to love and serve the world.
BLESSING ALL GOD'S CREATURES

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2:00 p.m.

Bring your furry and feathered friends for a special blessing: cats, dogs, birds, and other domestic pets or farm animals. Animals must be leashed or caged and under control of the owner at all times. Rain or shine: church yard in fair weather — parish hall in case of rain.

ALSO COLLECTING cans and bags of PURINA I pet food for the "Fill the Bowl Project." One simple donation provides food for a pet and peace of mind for an owner. Fill a bowl and help keep families and pets together. Bring your pet food donations to the church on or before October 1.
and pray for the individuals and families affected. This is just the beginning of a long recovery — and our brothers and sisters in need are counting on us.
[About Giving to ERD: If you give online or write a check directly to ERD, be sure to look for the place on the form to include the name and city of your church - "Ascension, Frankfort KY". OR you may write a check payable to 'Church of the Ascension' and we will pass along 100% to ERD. Either way helps to track our congregational outreach.]
