AMPPE is excited to announce that we will soon be unveiling our new vision and an expanded direction starting in 2018.
As we head into our 24
th
year of operation, we believe that it is time to re-invent AMPPE. We know that it is more important than ever to be speaking passionately about the Visitor Experience in Canada’s Rocky Mountain National Parks. The voice of the mountain park users needs to be heard in our national discussions, not just the voice of the wildlife biologist or environmental lobby group. For over 20 years AMPPE has supported our visitor service providers through many challenges and successes – and we will continue to do so!
The AMPPE Board has been highly engaged in this process and has provided strong support and clear guidance in the direction of the organization. We will be very excited to share more details and news with you around this development as we transition into 2018. Some things to look forward to are a re-focused mission, vision and mandate, closer relationships and information sharing with all current members, position papers around relevant mountain park issues, and a more engaging feedback process for our new and expanded membership of mountain national park users.
AMPPE will continue to be the voice of balance and reason on behalf of our membership, with added focus on the direct mountain park user to ensure that ACCESS, INFRASTRUCTURE and RECREATIONAL ENJOYMENT are well protected into the future for all our visitors and Canadians.
Thank you for your continued support and please contact our office with any questions or feedback you may have.
