What You Need to Know . . .
Parking will be available by the sanctuary and Family Life Center, and a portion of the field will be reserved for handicapped parking only. There will be parking attendants in all locations and golf carts will be provided for transportation to and from the field.

There will be no Sunday school classes this Sunday, October 1.

Our nursery for infants - age 3 will be open from 9:50 AM to 12 noon. Please be sure to pick up children by noon. 

Portable restrooms will be available on the field, and the Family Life Center will be open for inside facilities.

Senior Fall Fellowship

SINGER | STORYTELLER | HUMORIST | FOLK-THEOLOGIAN

Ed Kilbourne is widely known and appreciated for his gifts of combining song and spiritual teaching through moving music, quirky humor and insightful monologues. His mixture of acoustic guitar and singing with a storytelling style is often compared to that of Garrison Keillor, the radio humorist from "Lake Wobegon."

Golf Tournament

The staff and Missions team thank everyone who participated in and sponsored the Belin Memorial Golf Tournament this year. The tournament was a huge success and fun for all! Thank you to all the volunteers who worked to make the day outstanding. 

We raised over $18,000 for missions!

It's time to sign up . . .

- Register now through October 30
- Cost is $55
- Tryouts: October 30, 5:30 PM
- Practices begin in November
- Saturday games: December 9 - February 10

United Methodist Women
Ladies, join us at one of the UMW Circle meetings coming up soon . . .

- Grace Circle meets Monday, October 2, at 5:30 PM at the home of Peg Otterberg. We will go over plans for the upcoming year.

- Miracle Seekers Circle meets Tuesday, October 3, at 6 PM in the Family Life Center. Hopefully everyone can attend and help pack baggies for the homeless vets in this area. Elsie Price will lead devotions. We look forward to seeing everyone after the summer!

- Frances Wilson Circle meets Monday, October 9, at 10 AM in the Family Life Center. Please join us!

Waterfront Beautification Project

Commemorative Bricks on Sale
Deadline to order: October 1, 2017

Commemorative bricks are on sale through October 1 for the new Waterfront Beautification project (cost $150). Commemorative bricks and seating stones will be interspersed along the wall to make the area safer and enhance the beauty of our waterfront.

Brick order forms are available online, in the church office, and Family Life Center.

Food Drive for Backpack Mission

SHOP  |  DONATE  |  VOLUNTEER

In conjunction with the "Sack Hunger" initiative, Belin's Backpack Mission has teamed up with Lowes Foods in Murrells Inlet to collect food items for our local school children.

If you could volunteer 1-4 hours of your time to help with this or upcoming food drives, contact Kara Dellinger ([email protected], 843.855.4227). We also need someone to transport collected items back to the church immediately following the food drive.

Please continue to fill the green "Sack Hunger" bags found in the sanctuary and Family Life Center. The food donated feeds almost 200 children from our local school districts over the weekends.

Students In The Word Benefit Dinner

Gary Gilmore

Family Life Center

Coastal Carolina University Baseball Coach Gary Gilmore will be the guest speaker for the Students In The Word benefit dinner and silent auction on October 11.

Gary Gilmore led the CCU baseball team to a NCAA 2016 College World Series Championship and was voted 2016 Coach of the year. You won't want to miss this dinner! Proceeds support Students In The Word, an elective-credit Bible class that serves Waccamaw Middle & High School students.
