Global Perspectives on Programmatic Solutions to Bridging the Digital Divide
 
This past September, Director Lars Hallstrom and 
    research assistant Madison Pearson attended the 
    Different By Design Conference in Nelson, BC.  There 
    they presented their most recent findings from their rural 
    broadband project.  Their presentation is available below.

Rural Workers have a tougher go after workplace injuries
 
In a recent study completed by Professor Doug Gross with the UAlberta Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, he and his co-authors found that "there are issues faced by rural workers that aren't faced by urban workers, and 
   they  are  at risk of not recovering as quickly" as stated in 
   the  November issue of  folio .  The full study was 
   published  in  the International Journal of Occupational
