Plan ahead for this Sunday, November 6
Daylight Saving Time ends this Sunday, November 5. We'll "fall back" by setting the clocks back an hour. 

The Princeton Half Marathon is also this Sunday from 7:00-11:00 a.m. We will have both services as usual. Allot some extra time getting to church, especially for the 9:15 a.m. service. Check the church website for the route map with times.
nov7prayerNovember 7 Prayer Gathering 
God calls us to be a praying people. This coming Tuesday, November 7, from 10:00 AM-3:00 p.m. in Niles Chapel, we will gather to pray with deep yearning to be guided by the Holy Spirit.  The Deacons invite all to join them for this vigil as we pray for our church, our nation, and our world. 

We will pray for the thousands affected by natural disasters, gun violence, and for the day's elections. You are invited to drop in whenever you'd like. 
mccarterFree Tickets for "Princeton and Slavery" Plays
The Mission and Adult Education Committees have acquired a block of 30 tickets for the "Princeton and Slavery" performance of short plays at McCarter Theatre on Sunday, November 19, at 1:00 p.m.  See the church website to get a free ticket

Adult Education

This Sunday, November 6, Larry Alphs will lead a discussion on "Dealing with Depression and Suicide." Larry is co-chair of the Adult Education committee and will bring insight into these issues from his expertise as a clinical scientist,  9:15 a.m. in the Assembly Room. 

At 9:30 a.m. in Niles Chapel, Bill Phillippe kicks off the mini-series "A Romp through the Old Testament." Come for an "enchanted story about people, and a God, we'd like to know better."  Sundays, November 6 to 19 and December 3.

pageantBe a Part of the Christmas Pageant
Auditions and rehearsals beginning
The Christmas Pageant will be Sunday, December 17, at 4:00 p.m.  Cast rehearsals are Sundays, 12:15-2:00 p.m, beginning Sunday, November 12.

Auditions for speaking and singing roles are this Sunday, November 6, at 12:15 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

For other parts and roles, including the crew, interest forms are available on the literature rack outside the Main Office. You can leave your completed form in the "Registration" box in the office. 
fallcleanFall Clean-up of Church Grounds
Join the Property Committee next Saturday, November 11, from 8:00-10:00 a.m, with work gloves in hand, to work outside on weeding, bulb planting, and yard maintenance.
