We hope to see you at our upcoming event,  Managing Meanness by Cultivating Kindness 
on  Tuesday Nov. 28 from 6:00 - 8:00pm in the school gym.  Speakers from  Arts Express  will  share strategies and tips that will help parents/caregivers guide and support their children through difficult social situations while building social confidence and compassion for others.  The parent council felt the value of last year's event by Arts Express (on managing anxiety) was excellent for our school community and it drew an unexpectedly large crowd last year. We will have light refreshments in the gym and childcare in the library. If you can attend, please let us know by Nov 21 by emailing  cspc.stcyril@tcdsb. org. 



We currently are looking for individuals to help with the below items. For any of the volunteer opportunities listed below, please contact    [email protected]    f or more details. 

  • Student Volunteers. If you have children who would like to help with childcare during our Managing Meanness event on Nov. 28, please let us know as soon as possible. Volunteer hours will be granted.
  • Website manager(s) needed! We are looking for a volunteer to help manage the CSPC website. If you are interested, please let us know. No experience necessary but wordpress knowledge is preferred.
  • Special Education Rep - we are looking for a parent volunteer to provide a voice to the children at our school who have special needs. For the details, please contact us.

How to Donate: 

  •  Attach a cheque payable to St Cyril Catholic School Foundation and submit to your child's teacher.
  • Donate through United Way Company sponsored programs. If your company matches your United Way donation, consider choosing St Cyril School Foundation (Charity # 856362348RR0001) and possibly double the donation

Other Updates

Spirit Wear Orders

We are extending the deadline to submit Spirit Wear orders until Nov. 17th!!!
We will have a booth on the first floor during Parent Teacher Interviews on Nov 15 and 16  so you can try on sizes and submit your forms (bring a cheque!). Did you know that the hoodies are approved by our principal as part of the uniform? The t-shirts won't be permitted 
during regular school days, but are encouraged for wear during dress-down days and sporting events. To access the order form, please see here:  Spirit Wear Order Form


Maple Leafs Tickets Raffle
Last call to order raffle tickets for a pair of Maple Leafs Tickets! Last day to order is  Nov 21. 

Money raised will go to the purchasing of CD players for the classrooms.
"The draw will take place on Nov 28 at the Managing Meanness event in the gym."
