Hurricane Harvey Donation Update

A component of the Basic School Philosophy that guides Corvian's instruction is "Commitment to Character." This was illustrated when the Corvian community filled more than 20 boxes with school supplies for students in Houston. Thank you for giving (and giving big) to such a worthy cause!

Michelle and her son, Andrew, made signs (above) to promote the drives at both schools. One Corvian st udent,  Colin (below), decided to receive school supplies for the drive instead of   birthday gifts. His family said, " Corvian Community School is all about serving others and building a  community. What better way to celebrate a birthday by getting classmates and families together, enjoying each other's company, and making memories."

Sarah, a Corvian parent, helped transport some of the supplies to a Houston elementary school. She was able to visit the classroom and personally hand off the supplies to a teacher.

Brian, a Corvian parent, shipped the remaining 20 boxes to a middle school in the Houston area.

"Community" is part of our school's name. Because of all of YOUR help, Corvian Community School illustrated how it helps other communities in need. Thank you!  Thank you! Thank you!
