Maryland Manufacturing Day
. Gov. Larry Hogan kicked off the event in front of a capacity crowd and manufacturing exhibitors from across Maryland, and announced a
$2 million grant
to Chamber member RMI from the Maryland Energy Administration. Paid through the Next Generations Gains Program, the three-year grant will provide RMI members with energy audits to assess their energy sustainability and cost savings, and encourage them to enroll in state energy efficiency programs.
Gov. Hogan also said Maryland has experienced
manufacturing growth
