Small Business Saturday is just around the corner! Make sure your business is ready to celebrate by joining us in this Small Business Saturday Passport Promotion facilitated by the Fairmont Area Chamber of Commerce, your Small Business Saturday Neighborhood Champion.

Here's how it works...

Small businesses in the Fairmont, Minnesota area are encouraged to participate in this Small Business Saturday promotion to help raise awareness of the value that our local small businesses represent to our workforce and our residents through their community involvement and economic impact. Through collaboration and cross-promotion, we can help to increase traffic to local small businesses as well!

There is no cost to participate in this promotion other than the cost of the free gift, exclusive discount, or other givaway item that your business agrees to give as a reward to customers who turn in their completed passports at your business location on Small Business Saturday.

Registered small businesses will receive a standard promotional package, visibility through social media and additional promotional items requested during the registration process (While supplies last). Small businesses are asked to include the event in their own promotions when possible to improve overall awareness and participation from our community.

Steps for small business participation:

Register to participate in the promotion at the link above labeled "SIGN UP NOW!"
Promote the event using the provided materials to decorate your storefront, raise awareness using social media, and include the promotion in your business advertising (if possible).
Hand out passports to customers who visit your business during Small Business Saturday.
Stamp or otherwise uniquely mark the passports of customers who make a purchase at your business on November 25.
Reward customers who turn in their completed passports at your business location with the free gift, exclusive discount or other givaway item you indicated during registration.*

*NOTE: Customers must exchange their completed passports to receive their reward. Each unique passport may be redeemed at only one participating business location. Please collect and discard completed passports as they are redeemed by your business.
