HART HOUSE THEATRE UPDATE

Issue 14, 2017/2018 Season | November 14, 2017
This Bee has Started a Buzz
Spelling Bee
The opening weekend of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee had audiences laughing, clapping along to songs and cheering on their favourite spellers. Here is just some of the critical response:

"Hart House Theatre was filled with warmth and laughter... this Spelling Bee is delightfully entertaining and blessed with a joie de vivre that overflows the stage, as does the cast, to utterly charm... The 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee makes the arrival of winter a lot less chilling, random and unfair." - The Drew Rowsome Blog/ My Gay Toronto

"Hart House’s rendition is by far the most imaginative and unique I’ve ever seen...this production feels fresh to me. It’s bold, noisy and chock full of wonderful surprises..If I looked away for even a second, I would surely miss something clever." - Mooney on Theatre

"Hart House’s Putnam County Spelling Bee is D-E-L-I-G-H-T-F-U-L." - The Varsity

This show is on stage until November 25, and tickets are available at tickets.harthouse.ca
