Tomatoes
The aftereffects of Hurricane Irma have hit-- production on round and grape tomatoes is down 40% in the Southeast. California and Mexico are past peak harvest. Quality is good, but product is scarce and escalated pricing is in effect. This crisis is projected to continue into mid-December, possibly through the end of the year.

Plum Tomatoes are more plentiful at lower cost.

Berries
There continues to be quality and supply issues on Strawberries and Blueberries. Quality is better on Blackberries and Raspberries.

Order Conservatively. Limit Use, if possible.

Broccoli & Cauliflower
Supplies and quality will improve as growers transition into Yuma, Arizona.

Green Beans
An aftereffect of Hurricane Irma: A shortage of product due to crop flooding and an inability to plant. Quality is fair.

Consider Asparagus-- quality is excellent; supplies are steady.

Stone Fruits
There is a supply gap on Peaches and Nectarines as domestic crops have finished and Chili hasn't begun. Plums are available.

Oranges
There is a severe shortage which is expected to continue through early December. What is available is very, very expensive. The Navel crop has just begun and it is the lightest crop since 2009; it will not fill demand.

We have Many Varieties of Apples and Pears Available.
