Counseling & College Services
We have implemented an Advisory class for all students.
The sophomore class is beginning their advisory on Monday, October 9. All students must report to Advisory class during the first 30 minutes of the lunch period. Please view complete

The following colleges and universities will be visiting Saint Basil Academy during the week of October 9th. If you would like to meet with a college representative, please sign up on Naviance. Please get permission from your teacher if your visit is during class time.

Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors:
The PSAT and Pre-ACT testing day is Wednesday, October 11. Please find your student's room assignment for her test here. This schedule is also posted on the main floor bulletin board.

The FAFSA can be filed as early as October 1. Go to
FAFSA.gov.

AP Tests:
The Collegeboard has announced the cost of the 2018 AP tests at $94 per test. Every student that has elected to take an AP class is required to take the AP exam in May of 2018, as outlined in the Program of Study.
When making a payment please make all checks payable to Saint Basil Academy. If you wish to pay by credit card, please pay on the
SBA website. SBA will charge $94 per exam. We ask that all payments be made by
October 31, 2017.

Financial Aid Presentation:
It's never too early to start planning for a college education for our children. Please join us on
Wednesday, November 15th at 7 pm in our Auditorium at Saint Basil Academy for the following presentation:

Students. please bring in your Drama Club dues. Stage crew will be needed starting Saturday, October 28th.
There are 6 spots left for Dear Evan Hansen. Please send in your money to reserve your spot.
Fall Drama
Saint Basil Academy Drama Club will be presenting "The Drama of
Drama", a collection of 3 plays which concentrate on the Drama that ensues in the high school theatrical world.
Performances will be held Friday, November 10th and Saturday, November 11th at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $10/adults, $8/Seniors & Students and are available at the door.
Please come out and enjoy a full night of theater!

The Saint Basil Academy Softball Program is having an "All You Can Eat" pancake breakfast on Saturday, October 14th from 8am until 10am. The event is being held at Applebee's located at 323 Old York Road in Jenkintown.
Cost per person is as follows, Adults/$7.00, children under 12/$5.00. Please come out and support the team.

The TFT Trip websites are live for the England Traveler Trip and Costa Rica Service Adventure Trip! Please check out the links for more information about each trip.
The Travel for Teens Parents meeting for both trips will be held on Tuesday, October 17th at 7:00 pm in the cafeteria.

10 Week Club
It is not too late to return your 10 week club tickets. The first drawing was last week. Your tickets are good for all ten weeks of the drawing.
