College Recommendation Letters

This is the time of year when teachers and counselors get many requests from Seniors for college recommendation letters. Due to the volume of these requests and our other work responsibilities, we are asking that students get recommendation letter requests to us at least  two weeks prior  to when you need them so that we can honor all such requests and provide a quality letter. To ensure a personalized letter, it is necessary for students to provide information to us regarding their extracurricular activities, volunteer activities and any awards, certificates, or letters of recognition they have received during their high school years.

Requesting Transcripts through Parchment

Wilmot Union High School has again partnered with Parchment to provide paperless, secure transcripts, sent directly to the colleges, universities or scholarship committees of your choice. It’s easy, it’s secure, and it’s available 24/7. To begin, go to  www.parchment.com  and follow the on screen instructions. You will be able to track the progress of your request and will receive an email notification when your transcript is delivered electronically or mailed (based on the delivery method you choose). Transcripts sent electronically will cost $3.60 * each, and those mailed via the post office will cost $5.00 * each (both credit and debit cards are accepted). Transcripts for the year 2007 and later are available electronically. Previous years are available in hard copy paper form and require mailing. If you are pressed to meet a deadline, next day, noon delivery is available for $30.00.

*The cost of the first four transcripts is waived for current students who qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch Program.
