Principal Notes

Dear Parents,

This morning at assembly we celebrated the accomplishments of our Cross Country team (all levels medaled including Girls Varsity who took first place in CYO), our Varsity Girls Volleyball team (second place in CYO in their bracket), and our Varsity Football team (plays for 1st place this coming Saturday).  Additionally we introduced our actors for the Fall drama, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, which plays this weekend.  We also celebrated our 7th graders who led the Unity Mass on Sunday and who are conducting the food drive for the parish Thanksgiving baskets.  Finally our student council performed their skit based on the school Honor Code. It was a good morning to celebrate St. Philips.

Please consider attending our drama production this weekend.  Our student actors have been working for months on their performances and they are very excited about this play.  The flyer for tickets is in the newsletter today.  If you order tickets ahead your seats will be reserved for you.  You can also purchase tickets at the door before the performances on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 pm and on Sunday afternoon at 2 pm.

I also encourage you to attend the final football game for first place on Saturday at St. Francis High School. It's at 2:30 pm and our team would love to have cheering fans in the stands.

I hope that you have a peaceful Thanksgiving with family and friends.

Jennifer
