Honoring Our Veterans

Did you see the Veteran Appreciation Wall in the Atrium this week? Day School community members contributed photos of family members and loved ones who served in various branches of the military, and school secretary Shannon Dierlam worked to create a special display of the photos. The result was a beautiful tribute to those who served in celebration of Veteran's Day. Our students also recorded a special song for Veterans Day!

International Education Week
The US Department of State and US Department of Education promote and encourage schools, universities, embassies, international organizations, and institutions across our nation to celebrate International Education Week. This year, we celebrate national International Education Week during  November 13-17. This is our first year to participate in this celebration, and we are so glad to start a new tradition and join hands with so many other schools in this wonderful experience. We look forward opening our student's eyes/minds to the wonders of our global environments and help them become future leaders by considering study abroad/work abroad experiences. With this in mind, various classes will hear from a line of international speakers for next week.
