Please let us know asap if you will be hosting a Prof Talk, space tour or other special event during Fall Preview.

We will bring your new banners and major maps for the event, but feel free to bring 3D artifacts that represent your discipline to dress up your table. Non-3D objects are not required nor recommended.

As usual, we will provide coffee and snacks for all volunteers.

This year for the Fall Graduate Forum, the School of Graduate Studies has invited Dr. Nanda Dimitrov from Western University to deliver a workshop for Graduate Supervisors about supervision across cultures. Dr. Dimitrov will present case studies and share insights into cross-cultural supervision, establishing good practices, effective communication and productive collaborations.  See more information here.

Information about the new Protocol for Academic Consideration for Students in Extenuating Circumstances was presented to Undergraduate Chairs and Undergraduate Assistants on September 26th and 29th.
 
The Faculty of Arts and Science has revised the rollout timeline for the protocol, website, and Academic Consideration Request Portal (ACRP), which is now scheduled for late October.
 
Until the transition to the online system is complete at the end of October, please note the following :
  • Self-Declaration of Brief Absence (up to 48 hours): Students can submit the form directly to instructors via email. The form can be found here.
  • Request for Academic Consideration for Extenuating Circumstances (more than 48 hours, up to 3 months): Please direct inquiries to the Academic Accommodation Counsellor at: [email protected]
  • Request for Excused Absence for Significant Event: Please direct inquiries to the Academic Accommodation Counsellor at: [email protected]
