October is a squash-centric month in Philly. The US Open and the Philly JCT both ensure that everyone in squash is suddenly in the same place at the same time!
The Philly JCT was a huge Scozzie success, with six quarter finalists and one winner. Congratulations to Shaam on his second successive JCT victory and to all the Scozzies who competed. The standard of squash is so high at the moment that even qualifying for a JCT is an achievement in itself. Lyall's report is below and well worth a quick read!
Most importantly, I am proud to welcome our newest Scozzie Coach, Colin White. Colin is one of the biggest names in world squash, an awesome coach and a fantastic guy. Check out our release below and please welcome him to the Scozzie family when you see him around the club!

2. No 12:00pm Squad this coming Saturday due to the P2P! 9:00am will run as usual!
3. Tecnifibre is in the building this Thursday afternoon and evening! Come and try some test rackets and get a feel for the new seasons best rackets. Details of special offers below!
4. Scozzie at the US Open on Friday - logistics below! It'll be a great night for everyone and we're really looking forward to it!
5. Look out for a big announcement later in the week - it'll be a "happy/sad" day for Scozzie...
The season is going along at a million miles an hour, and we're getting it done in training and in events. Squads are enthusiastic and working hard and the coaches couldn't be more impressed with everyone's dedication to the task of improving on and off the court.
