Hello From Michael
Many of you have called or stopped by the office, asking if we have received an update from Michael Snyder, our former 8:45 Worship Service Pianist. We are happy to let you know, that we heard from Michael last week, and he asked us to pass the following on to you: 

I miss you all and I love hearing from everyone.  I currently reside in McAllen, TX, and have a new one-bedroom apartment about two miles from the schools where I work. I wake up to a car laden with dew every morning, which I have to wipe off the windshield---something that didn't EVER occur in AZ. I would take the dry heat over this ANY day!! We're all going through changes and adjustments, and I hope we make it through to the other side. I hope to see everyone at Christmas!

Sunday Service Times Are Changing October 22nd
Just a reminder that starting on October 22nd, our Sunday Service times will change to 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. 
Parking Lot Closure
Our parking lot will be closed all day on Monday, October 30th, as it is being re-sealed and re-striped. As a result, our staff will be working from home that day, so the church and office will be closed on October 30th and will re-open at 8:00 a.m. on October 31st. Thank you!
Thanksgiving Meals For The Homeless
We are blessed because we can help the needy! Let's open up our heart and show our love by donating Thanksgiving meals for the House of Refuge homeless families. Donation food tags will be posted in the Narthex this coming weekend. All food items need to be returned to the church by November 12th.

A pancake breakfast will be served at Grace Lutheran Church in Phoenix on Sunday, October 29th. 

Families are welcome to serve, so please sign up in the Narthex or contact Tina Gilson, Outreach Team Chair, with any questions.
