Tridel winning Home Builder of the Year
|
|
The Ontario Home Builders' Association handed down their Awards of Distinction earlier this week, and a number of EnerQuality builders were honoured for their work!
These winners include three of five Prestige Awards: Tridel,
Home Builder of the Year; Eurodale Developments,
Renovator of the Year; Doug Tarry Homes,
Project of the Year (Low-Rise) for Project Hope, a build raising money for the family of late St. Thomas & Elgin building official
Johnny Nooren.

Net-Zero Toronto Laneway Housing Concept Wins International Design Competition

Laneway Housing is the one of the newest hot topics in construction in Ontario, and industry experts discussed it at the Housing Innovation Forum in February.
Recently, students from Ryerson University and the University of Toronto recently took the
grand prize at the 2017 U.S. Department of Energy's fourth annual Race to Zero Student Design Competition - a collegiate competition engaging students to design zero energy ready homes.

ENERGY STAR Day, celebrating the strides Canadians have made in saving energy.

Introducing Golara Mehrpour, EQ's new QA Program Coordinator
Golara Mehrpour, born & raised in Shiraz, Iran, moved to Canada in September 2013
, and
has just
joined EnerQuality as our new QA program coordinator.
After a high school and university career intimidating opposing teams as a basketball champion, Golara got her BA in English Language Translating and studied music, art, sketching and architecture in technical schools before emigrating to Canada.
Graduating in June 2017 from the Architectural Technology Program at George Brown College, she was immediately drawn to building science.
