SATURDAY! Cross Roads 5K Run and 2 Mile Walk
It's not too late to register for this Cross Roads event.

SUNDAY! Deadline for College Care Packages
Remember to bring your items and place in the shopping cart in the Information/Welcome area. Good items to bring include, sweet & salty snacks, gum, single-serve powered drink mix, microwave soup, pre-stamped cards, lip balm, et cetera.
SUNDAY! Help Needed After Worship
If you can stay a few minutes after Divine Worship on Sunday, we could use your help with a couple of tasks:
1. Helping the Community Care Team sort and pack the College Care Packages.
2. Helping clearing the sanctuary to begin the set up for Reformation Fest. 
SUNDAY AFTERNOON! Reformation Hymn Festival
Rememer! The Reformation Hymn Festival is Sunday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. 
Adopt-A-Chair UPDATE
16 Chairs remain orphans! You may adopt several for $24/chair.
If you adopted chairs, please bring your money this Sunday! Make checks payable to the church with "Adopt-a-chair" in the memo.
Reformation Fest Updates

Check this section each week for ways you may get involved with the preparations for our big event. This week:
  • We still need a grill to borrow! Contact Amy Sisson.
  • We need a volunteer to stand by the popcorn machine
    during the movies. Contact Amy Sisson.
  • Several costumed players are still needed! Contact Kelly Reimert
  • Elaine Hackman is seeking "upholstery-type" fabric to fashion and create costumes. If you'd like to help out or have fabric that might be of use,
  • Patricia Lilly invites everyone to sign up to bring sides and salads to accompany our hot dogs and bratwurst meal. Sign up sheet is in the narthex.  
  • Marilyn Henstock invites everyone to attend the  Hymn Fest on October 15.

  • Linda Reimert (mother of Ron Reimert) at home following hospitalization for MRSA and pneumonia

  • George Mitchell - celebrating news that the cancer is not growing nor spreading. 
  • Larry Pruett (father of Jim Smallridge's coworker) home following successful lung surgery.
  • Stu Schwalm at home following a hospital stay.
  • Jeanneane Maxon (daughter of Jenny Entsminger) celebrating a clear MRI.
  • Mason Bowyer (8 year old friend of Judy Knox's grandson) recovering from brain surgery to remove a tumor.
  • Vivian Tate (friend of Annette Sherman) recovering from hip surgery.
  • Caelum Witcher (grandson of Patricia and J.K. Lilly) applying for U.S. Coast Guard Academy and other universities.
  • Meghan Swartz (friend of Sue Reed) in nursing school at a critical time of her education and continues to suffer with mononucleosis.
  • Amy Simpson (daughter of Margaret Ann Simpson) cancer found in lymph nodes following surgery.
  • Dr. Ruth Ann Vandevender (vet treating of Cosette Dickenson's cat) recovering from hand surgery.
  • Ethan Humphreys (friend of Dale Miller) diagnosed with aggressive leukemia.
  • Michelle Schreck (niece of Janet Winans) recovering from surgery.
  • Gay Thompson (friend of Cosette Dickenson) foot injury.
  • Tim Wells (former student of Ed Booten) recovering from successful stop-gap heart surgery. Tim is still awaiting a heart transplant. 
  • Steve Marcum is recovering at home following hospitalization for a broken foot.
  • Ryan Hippler (former student of Ed Booten) recovering from successful surgery to remove a cancerous tumor and lymph nodes.

For our congregation - that we would pursue God's will for us as His people gathered here to bring Him glory as we make disciples being help, hope, home in the body of Christ.
