Three Ways to Give...

We invite you to stand by our neighbors during this time. Your gifts ensure that our church will be able to provide help and hope for those left homeless or otherwise affected by this disaster for years to come. Here are three different organizations with different focuses, to help our friends:

Focusing on the homeless needs in downtown Houston

In Conroe, TX, is currently set up as a shelter and needs support to help run it.
Christopher Lake, Senior Pastor, is Peace's Pastor Doug's former youth pastor.

Focusing on long-term recovery efforts for both Harvey and Irma.

Anyone (not just Thrivent members) can make a personal donation to hurricane victims. When you do, Thrivent will double the impact - up to $3 million.
One of the organizations listed to receive matching dollars is ELCA Lutheran Disaster Response. (Thrivent Financial will also pay the processing fees)

 2018 Stewardship - Pledge Today

Change Lives -  Your Pledge Matters

500 years ago, Martin Luther re-formed the church by leading us on a dual journey - the inward journey of God's unconditional love, and the outward journey in which we share that love with the world around us.  Let's take the next steps together by offering ourselves to this mission:

Faith offers us God as our own; love gives us to our neighbor as his own.
     -Martin Luther

Please pledge online or return your pledge cards during Worship on Reformation Sunday, Oct. 29.

A huge thank you to Peace's Mitch Ozment, who chose Peace's Shelter house for his Eagle Scout project.
