Children are Miracles
These times beg for a miracle. Good news has been sparse as one disaster follows another. It's hard to keep up with the hurricanes, floods and fires.....
This Sunday / Children's Sabbath

In the Gospel of Luke, we read, "The child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom; and the favor of God was upon him."  Isn't our hope for all children that they grow and become strong in mind, body, and spirit?  This requires health care, nutrition, safe homes, good habits, caring schools, communities, places of worship, a sense of their inherent worth and trust that adults will meet their needs.  To be filled with wisdom, they need to see their parents and their faith communities living out their values, demonstrating what is important by what they do.

Sundays, October 8, 15, 22 @ 9:45 am / Plymouth at Work
Join us for three Sundays in October to learn about the wonderful ministries of Plymouth's people. We will meet in the Reception Room at 9:45 am.

October 22 / We Are What We Sing (Jacque Jones)
Congregational songs are just that - the songs of the people.  Every week in worship we sing hymns old and new.  This gathering will be an opportunity to take a deeper look at those hymns - how they get written, how they work, what they can do, and how they write themselves on our hearts.  We will also take a look at our hymnal and the resources that are tucked away inside it. Think about your favorite hymns and come prepared to talk and sing.
