Now that autumn is here, it's time to transition to your fall veggie garden
Did you know that Master Gardeners are active throughout Balboa Park? You can "Ask a Master Gardener" at the Botanical Building.

Many gardeners say that October is THE BEST month for planting so get busy!

The destructive Bagrada bug is becoming more invasive in our area, feeding on many edibles including young cole crops like broccoli, kale, cabbage and more. 
Some fruit on my navel orange tree are splitting. What causes this and what can I do to prevent it?     
 


We're off to see the Lizard, the wonderful lizard of ours... Chances are you've seen MANY lizards in your garden. Did you know there are over 60 types just in California and these fascinating creatures can be very beneficial in our gardens?
