LMS Continues to work with the University of Saskatchewan
Continuing to build awareness of careers in the livestock marketing sector with students at the University of Saskatchewan is a key  activity LMS is excited to continue this year. By building on the Lecture Series we have delivered over the past three years to classes in the College of Agriculture & Bioresources, we hope to create awareness of job opportunities in the cattle industry. Through encouraging educated young men and women to consider livestock marketing streams as a challenging and fulfilling career path, we hope to increase the sustainability of this industry.
Joe Jackson lectures to students in the Grain & Livestock Marketing class.

With the help of our volunteer lecturers, students in the Principles of Selling, Grain & Livestock Marketing, Intensive Beef Management and Agriculture Marketing Systems courses have had the opportunity to learn about the skills and requirements to succeed in this industry.

LMS will also be hosting the Careers in the Cattle Sector Information Session again in January. This event provides students the opportunity to hear from a panel of industry representatives about their experiences, educational backgrounds and job opportunities. This session was very popular last year and attended by almost 90 students. If you or your business would like to participate, please contact our office, 306-933-4404.

2016 Annual Report.
