Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake

In mid-September, I received
Click heree-mails and phone calls about sightings of one of Florida's most magnificent and iconic animals - the Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake. Some sightings represented newborn individuals, both in Victoria Hills and Victoria Gardens (some were misidentified as Pygmy Rattlesnakes). But a few sightings were of large, mature adult rattlesnakes (also in the Hills and Gardens).

Spook-tober Pet Photo Contest
Over the summer Kolter ran a resident Pet Photo contest in June and it went so well they've decided to have a Spook-tober Pet Photo Contest. It's open for residents and the public to participate for a chance at winning a $50 gift card to a pet store (4 winners will be selected). Kolter is also encouraging all to donate to their ASPCA Team to help fight and give abused and homeless animals a second chance at life. Kolter Homes will donate $1.00 per photo entry to the ASPCA.

Also, on a desktop computer you can see the contest on our Kolter Homes Facebook Page Tab "Spook-Tober Pet Photo Contest.

And our ASPCA Team we will be campaigning for is:  https://secure.aspca.org/team/spooktoberkolterpets

Did You Know?
Banquet rentals are a part of the Victoria Gardens Clubhouse operating income. The generated income benefits the residents by helping to offset some of the homeowners association fees. The Clubhouse team tries to accommodate resident programs and activities as scheduled. However, there may be some adjustments to the location of the activity/fitness class etc. As those changes occur, we will keep you posted via the weekly newsletter so you can prepare properly.

Upcoming private rentals:
Thursday, Oct 12 Café: Hand, Knee and Foot will be held in the Arts and Crafts Room; Scrabble will be held in the Library.
Saturday, Oct 14: Magnolia Ballroom
Saturday, Oct 21: Magnolia Ballroom
Monday, Oct 30: Magnolia Ballroom
