A shotgun is also known as a pepper gun and scattergun. Most often used for hunting and sport shooting, the shotgun is one of the most popular firearms today. Historically, the shotgun was used by armies in close quarter combats. Shotguns are used for shooting sports such as trap, skeet and sporting clays.

Tom Turkey The Turkey symbolizes altruism and self-sacrifice. It is the centerpiece of today s Thanksgiving dinner, which commemorates the first Thanksgiving in 1621, when the Pilgrims and Native Americans shared a harvest meal. Ben Franklin championed the turkey as our national symbol, but the bald eagle won!

Deer Family Deer have an excellent sense of hearing and when unsure of a sound, they stay completely still, blending in with their surroundings, till the danger has passed. The Deer Family reminds us to be kind and gentle, yet aware, and that family should look out for each other.

PAINTED DOOR HOURS...

The Bricktown Association will host the fourth annual Brick-or-Treat candy hunt for kids in costume on Tuesday, October 24 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at various businesses throughout the district in downtown Oklahoma City.

Parents and guardians are invited to bring their children to Bricktown to trick-or-treat at participating businesses. The central hub of the event will take place at the Mickey Mantle Plaza at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark where attendees can pick up an event map. There will also be a free pumpkin-painting station, free photos from the The SNL Booth, mascots from local teams, and lots of great costumes!

The Oklahoma City Dodgers will be hosting a post trick-or-treat movie at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. After the event concludes at 7 p.m., the ballpark gates will open for a free showing of the Halloween classic, Hocus Pocus.

This event is free and open to the public, and trick-or-treaters must be under the age of 14 and be in costume to receive free gifts or candy.
