Start Your Fall Decorating!
It's time to showcase your home for fall. Customers were in over the weekend picking up mums, fall bulbs, pansy plants, pumpkins and broom corn! People are definitely in the mood for fall and it looks like we will soon have cooperation from Mother Nature!

At this time of year, annuals are usually looking a bit worn out but not Pam Wilson's geraniums! "I have them in a plant stand that was my grandmother's and every morning it's the first thing I see. It's been a great way to start my days!"

Harvest time is also upon us. Tina Rengel shared, "Just wanted to show the success I've had with your plants this year, specifically tomato plants. Here is the 'typical' tomato I've been harvesting weekly! This bad boy weighed in at 1 3/4 pounds." She has been picking 7-8 of these weekly! "The cherry tomatoes have been really prolific too. My onions did well ..."  She started too late for seeds this year so this was her first time planting "Countryside Home Grown" vegetable plants. "I absolutely love your company. You have so many great plants. We will definitely be back next season for our veggie plants!"

We hope you too have been successful in the garden this year.

Now is the time to get ready for fall!

Fall is a great time to plant! Trees and shrubs in the landscape are starting to turn color. Trees on the nursery lot are quickly dropping their leaves, so h urry in while they still have fall color! This year the color changes are happening quickly due to the hot dry weather we have been experiencing. Leaf drop is normal even on newly planted plants at this time of year.

Use Plant Starer with all your plantings to encourage root growth!

REMEMBER to WATER all your existing landscape plants they've had no rain water since July!

All trees, shrubs, and evergreens are 30% Off

Water, Water, Water!!! We are experiencing very dry weather. To ensure your plants are ready for winter, it is critical that they get enough water! We cannot stress enough how important it is that your plants get an inch of water per week.

Soaker hoses work great - they do not get the foliage wet and give a deep soaking to the roots.
