Happy fall to all!
We love this time of the year with the vibrant changing colors of leaves, dramatic brushstroke skies at sunset, and those crisp, cool evenings (surely they're on their way, right!?). We are happy that we are able to gather our indigenous fall collection and share it with you in the dappled sunlight of our new home
in East Walnut Hills.
Please join us for our Grand Re-Opening Celebration on September 29 & 30. Enjoy the handmade collection while sipping champagne and nibbling on sweets from 1 to 9. Our whole neighborhood will be hoppin' for their event, Walk on Woodburn from 6 to 9. Friday is also the first day to bring in any found lucky indigenous leaves.
We've been expanding the selection at the gallery with all of your favorites along with an impressive array of new works, having received deliveries from more than
30 artists since our soft-opening!

"I am a studio potter who has combined my love of collage with my love of clay. I do this through the use of decals that I create and print for my ceramic work. I decorate my ware with combined imagery ranging from historic photos to pictures my cat Dumptruck. Through these strange collaborations I work to achieve a sense of nostalgia, and to make you laugh." ~Jason

Tim Rooseboom to the
indigenous family of artists. Tim creates a stylish line of functional pewter works, including these wonderful s
ets of measuring spoons. Each themed set has fine detail making each "spoon" its own character.

"My Goal is to bring character to purpose. My process is a lot like a chef perfecting a recipe. Once the recipe is worked out, I gather ingredients, follow directions and reproduce items (with a little tinkering now and again)."

Help us welcome new local maker,
Elizabeth Ross, to the
indigenous family of artists! Elizabeth has added her hand printed, functional textiles to our dynamic collection. Pick up a few as a hostess gift or an entire set for a wedding gift and choose a couple for your own kitchen ~ as there are colorful napkins, tote bags with pockets, and the popular flour sack tea towels that soften with age. Fabric is 100% cotton and have been prewashed and preshrunk. All of the inks are non-toxic and water-based. There may be a natural variance in color and/or print. However, this only adds to the unique charm of a hand printed item.

Another busy fall season is upon us with new artists, artful events, a fundraiser and the winter holiday season sneaking
up soon too! In keeping with tradition, we will be celebrating
American Craft Week,
October 6-15, recognizing the importance of handmade craft along with hundreds of other galleries, artists, and organizations across the nation.
Only
indigenous will be featuring an amazing
Trunk Show of Jewelry by Nora Catherine, along with an
ART RAFFLE for
the local Empty Bowls project by
the Clay Alliance of Cincinnati. More details to follow soon along with one more guest
artist & event in October to be announced.
