Wow! What an incredible Sunday we had with Dave Eubank and his family, learning about what God is doing through Free Burma Rangers! If you didn't see the interview with Dave, you can watch it here.

Following Jesus, we learned from Dave, is about prayer, trust, and boldness. Many thanks to our Global Outreach Team for hosting this on Sunday.
This Sunday, we will celebrate World Communion Sunday, and will learn more about the radical call to follow Jesus by reading Matthew 9:9-13.
I also look forward to the "Party in the Park"/worship service/installation service with many of you. Although the occasion for this event is my installation as Senior Pastor at LCPC, this is not about me; it's about Jesus, and the joy of sharing his love in our community.

Please join us for a Service of Installation and Celebration of Community as we install our new Senior Pastor, Jeff Hoffmeyer. Please bring something to sit on (lawn chairs, blankets). There will be a few chairs available. Dress comfortably. Light reception to follow (also at the Park). If you have mobility/accessibility issues, the Deacons will be transporting people between the LCPC parking lot and Memorial Park. The Deacons will have a table in the Narthex this Sunday morning after the worship services where you can sign up for transportation.
We invite you to join us as we examine the differences between a life lived for God and a life lived for self. General Admission: $15; Students and Seniors: $10; Groups of 12+: $5 each.

Companions for the Journey is a monthly gathering of men and women in community who share the desire to be still, to pray, and to listen for the holy in life. If you are hearing an invitation to make space for experiencing God, we invite you to come to this Introductory Class!
Our Chancel Choir rehearses on Thursdays at 7:30PM in the Burcham Rehearsal Hall.
New members are welcome on all parts. Anyone with a tuneful voice is welcome to join. Prior choral experience is helpful, but not necessary. No audition is required. The sole prerequisite is a love of praising God through musical worship and ministry.
It is a great way to make friends, worship God and make music at the same time!
