CELEBRATION OF LIFE
Rev. Dale Carpenter
Dale Carpenter was born on August 16, 1930 and went to be with the Lord on September 22, 2017.

His formative years were spent on the family farm in Fruitland, Washington. Dale enrolled in the Northwest Bible Institute in Edmonton, Alberta. While in Canada he met and married the love of his life, Mary Lou Taitinger, in 1949, graduated in 1952 and had their son, Calvin in 1953. Dale's early ministry included church planting in Jasper Place, Alberta, traveling evangelism  in the Northwest Area, and Youth Director of the Northwest District.

In 1964 Dale was chosen as the Pastor of Stone Church in Yakima, Washington. For the next 34 years he would serve that church and community and become known as "Pastor" to thousands of people. While there, the church grew from about 125 to over 1,100 in average attendance on Sunday. He led them through two major building relocations. "Pastor Dale" was a respected leader, not only in the faith community, but in the greater community as well.

During his years of ministry he also served the Northwest Ministry Network as an Executive Presbyter, General Presbyter and Elder.  In his retirement, his ministry continued for another 16 years to senior adults at Sound Life Church in Tacoma.

Pastor Dale Carpenter leaves a lasting legacy of lives touched and helped through his care and service to God and the churches he served. We are thankful for Dale's years of faithful service and ask you to unite in prayer for the Carpenter family.

Sincerely,
The Northwest Ministry Network

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have  loved His appearing."
