Can you believe that we are already in the last quarter of 2017? As you can imagine, we have already begun focusing on issues that may arise during the 2018 session. Rural health care expansion, education reform, telecommunication access in rural areas, as well as, other hot topics will be major components of the upcoming session.
As we all work to overcome the destruction of Hurricane Irma, our Georgia farms were greatly impacted. So much so that our own, US Secretary of Agriculture, Sonny Perdue made a visit to the Peach state to evaluate the damage. As Agriculture remains our state's largest economic asset, below I have covered a few bills that we passed in hopes to further support our Georgia farms.
In the meantime, please reach out to me directly if you have any questions regarding issues.
As always, thank you for your support and allowing me the opportunity to serve our district and state. If you need anything, please
