Student Debt Delays Homeownership
The vast majority of millennials with student debt currently do not own a home and attribute what they typically expect to be a seven-year delay before they enter the housing market to the burden of paying for their education, according to a new report from NAR and the nonprofit organization American Student Assistance®.

Tax Reform Proposals Threaten Homeowners
Central elements of the tax reform proposals under consideration on Capitol Hill-including eliminating the federal tax deduction for state and local taxes and doubling the standard deduction-would raise taxes for middle-class homeowners and could cause property values to decline, Iona Harrison, chair of NAR's Federal Taxation Committee, told the Senate Finance Committee during a Sept. 14 hearing. NAR Urges Caution on Automated Valuations
NAR has written the Federal Housing Finance Agency to urge it to provide more clarity regarding plans by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to permit the use of automated valuation technology instead of traditional appraisals in certain home purchase transactions. read more>>

new! Apple iOS 10.3.3
Apple recently released operating system iOS 10.3.3 for iPhones and iPads. We completed testing of the new iOS with the eKEY app and are happy to announce there are no issues.

We are very excited to announce a new way for an existing eKEY® user to obtain an eKEY authorization code.
Your members that have an eKEY can now request an authorization code from within the eKEY app. This is useful if they are moving their eKEY service to a new phone or if they receive a 9B0D error when the eKEY gets out of sync with the server.
To obtain an eKEY authorization code from Mobile SupraWEB:
1. Select the SupraWEB icon from within the eKEY app (on the 2nd page of icons), or navigate to supraweb.suprakim.com on your smartphone.
2. Enter eKEY serial number. The eKEY serial number can be found at the top of the eKEY home screen.
3. Enter 4-digit PIN.
4. Select the Association/MLS from the dropdown list.
5. Select Login.
6. Select Authorization Code
7. The authorization code will be emailed to the email address on file in SupraNET.

You will be prompted to enter your eKey Serial Number and your 4 digit Pin Code , plus the# sign.
Your eKey Serial Number can be found by opening your eKey App and it will be displayed at the top of the screen.
Press the Red X on your key pad and select Emergency Update Code and enter the update code that you were given by KimWEB.
This will update your key for the next 24 hours.
