This is our third week of football as a metaphor for Christianity. Our sermon series is God's Game Plan.

We first compared our reluctance to share our faith to standing on the sidelines waiting to get in the game. Then we compared the positions on a football team to the roles we have been created for when we follow God's path for our lives.

This week we are going to talk about the equipment that football players wear and compare that to the equipment we need as we share God's love with our neighbors. Football is a dangerous game. You need a lot of equipment to be able to play the game safely. You also need to have your equipment ready to use when you are sharing your faith. Today we will "Suit Up" for God.
