This issue is the first weekly parent newsletter for the 2017-2018 school year! We hope you have had a wonderful summer. We're looking forward to your son's arrival.
PARENT ASSOCIATION

All parents are members of the Parent Association, ably led again this year by Robin Cline (Jack '18). The association supports our boys through a number of fund raisers that cover the cost of a variety of activities and food (snacks, treats, parties, etc.). One of the easiest ways to support the PA is to join the Baron Backers. Click here to join online.

STAY CONNECTED

We have sent invitations to join the BRS private Facebook group to all new and returning parents. If you don't see the invitation in your mailbox, please check your spam folder and let us know. This is a great communications tool that allows parents to share tips, ideas and ask questions - to each other and school administrators.

If you hear of any parents who have not received this email from Constant Contact, please ask them to check their spam folders and mark this as "not spam."  This will ensure that everyone continues to receive these weekly missives.

HEALTH FORMS: Please be sure all health forms, including your son's Virginia Health Form and Virginia Sports Physical form, have been completed. Click here to download copies of the health forms.

If your son is attending any of the upcoming athletic camps, he will not be allowed to practice until all health forms have been entered in Magnus.

FEEDING THE FOOTBALL TEAM: Can you help provide hydrating snacks and  after-game meals for the football team? Please sign up here  if are able to help.

You can still help if you don't live close. You can order meals and snacks in advance from a local restaurant, and a local parent will pick up the meals, or you may contribute money with this
