Pastor's Message

  Dear Friend in Faith,

I am excited for Celebration Sunday. We have so much to share in thankful praise for God’s care. Oh, how we are blessed! Here’s what Psalm 147 says:

4 He determines the number of the stars;
he gives to all of them their names.
5 Great is our Lord, and abundant in power;
his understanding is beyond measure.

Some of us have an easier time than others noticing God, and what God is up to in our world. What would it look like if the church today imitated Jesus’ affirmation of the full dignity and God-given potential of all women and men—especially those who’ve historically been assigned to the world’s margins? On World Communion Sunday, your giving helps to provide scholarships for national and international graduate students whom God has gifted to learn and to serve.
