REPACKING PROCESS MOVES FORWARD INTO THE UNKNOWN
AUCTION AND REPACK ELIGIBLE STATIONS HAVE UNTIL NOV. 2ND TO MODIFY A 2ND TIME
Modifications proposed by Class A's may not interfere with LPTV licenses and permits. Eligible entities may file an amendment to its initial construction permit application, if still pending, or a modification to its construction permit, if granted, to seek an alternate channel or expanded facilities. And LPTV will need to re-examine their coverages once this is done.
The good news is that a short time after Nov. 2nd, another Public Notice will come out announcing the available channels into which LPTV and translators may displace to, and when the LPTV Special Filing Window will be.
