CalCoast™ publishes The CalCoast™ WAVE to more than 5,000 subscribers up and down the California coast and around the world.  CalCoast™ WAVE subscribers are from federal, state and local governments as well as NGOs, coastal consultants and academia.
 
We hand-curate the week's most relevant and important news articles from dozens of sources so you don't have to and then come to you every week for a small subscription fee.Each edition of the CalCoast™  WAVE also includes important announcements from government agencies, NGOs and others, as well as information about conferences, meetings, and job openings.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING SUBSCRIPTIONS TO THE CalCoast™ WAVE
 
 
We are pleased to announce that our subscription process has been repaired and that we recently received funding which makes it possible to offer subscribers a lower monthly rate. The CalCoast™ WAVE will have only one monthly rate instead of three. From today forward, all new subscriptions will only cost $5.95 per month (formerly the Student Rate). Existing subscribers will be charged the new monthly rate on your next renewal date. Subscribers who prepaid for one year will receive a pro-rated refund. If you didn't receive credentials to access the news articles, please let us know and we will send you login information. Please email or call us if you have any questions about subscriptions to The CalCoast™ WAVE and thank you all for your patience while we repaired the subscription process.

Public Comments Due Sept. 25, 4 p.m. on San Diego County Draft Climate Action Plan
 

The County Planning & Development Services Climate Action Plan (CAP) team would like to remind you that the public comment period for the County Draft CAP will close on Monday, September 25 at 4 p.m.

All comments on the Draft CAP, Draft SEIR, and other project related documents must be provided, in writing, to [email protected]  
or as otherwise indicated in the Notice of Availability document.

Civil Engineer, Drainage and Water Quality Design Project Design Consultants - San Diego, California  

CIVIL ENGINEER with 2 - 8 years of experience in drainage and water quality design for land development projects. Candidate must be able to effectively multi-task and work on projects involving the analysis and design of storm water facilities including storm water BMPs and Low Impact Development techniques. Specific work might include preparing reports and producing drawings and specifications related to stormwater facilities design, water quality, and surface hydrology and hydraulics.
