ROBBINS & MURTHY MEET THE MEDIA TO DISCUSS HART'S RECOVERY PLAN 

The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation recently submitted its Recovery Plan to the Federal Transit Administration.  

HART's CEO Andrew Robbins and Senior Advisor Krishniah Murthy held a follow-up press conference to answer questions about the report.

HART AT THE 2017 GLOBAL TOURISM SUMMIT AT THE HAWAI'I CONVENTION CENTER
The HART Team hosted an informational booth at the 2017 Global Tourism Summit at the Hawai'i Convention Center.

The HART Team was front and center at the 2017 Global Tourism Summit at the Hawai'i Convention Center.  During the 3-day event, attendees from across the country and around the world got an in-depth look at Honolulu's Rail Transit Project.

Hawai'i's visitor industry is very excited about the project, knowing that it will provide reliable transportation options for both residents AND visitors.

 
HONOLULU STAR-ADVERTISER EDITORIAL STAFF TOURS  RAIL OPERATIONS CENTER

Members of the Honolulu Star-Advertiser Editorial Staff got an up-close look at Honolulu's Rail Transit Project during a recent tour of HART's Maintenance and Storage Facility in Waipahu. HART CEO Andrew Robbins hosted the tour facilitated by Hitachi Ansaldo Honolulu JV Senior Manager Enrico Fontana.

Joining Robbins and Fontana on the tour were Lucy Young-Oda (HSA Editorial Page Editor), Stephen Downes (Deputy Editorial Page Editor), Vicky Viotti (Editorial Writer), Maureen O'Connell (Editorial Writer), Marcel Honore (Reporter), and Photographer Dennis Oda.

The group toured the Rail Operations Center and walked through one of the project's 260 foot-long, 4-car trains. They were also presented with an overview of the project's construction progress and had the chance to speak with senior managers from HART and the Hitachi Ansaldo Joint Venture.  

Soon, HART engineers will begin live testing of the rail cars having already successfully completed energized testing of select portions of the rail's guideway.
