"WE'RE STANDING STRONG, and LOOKING FORWARD" (Exodus 14:13-15)

God told Moses to stop whining and tell the children of Israel to "go forward." The people thought Moses was crazy. They were about to be trapped and killed by their oppressors, the Egyptians; but our God is unstoppable. The God we serve has all power in his hand.

God made the chil dren of Israel wait until the Egyptian army was behind them because He was preparing them for a pivotal moment between their past and their future. God has brought Memorial Tabernacle to this pivotal moment between your past and your future. The children of Israel was given a choice whether or not to believe Moses when he told them to "Stand still" that is, be strong, and "see the salvation of the Lord."

Sometimes we need our eyes opened and our memories refreshed. We complain about what God isn't doing, and we forget about what He's already done. We forget about how God provided and made ways out of no way for us.

Memorial Tabernacle, God has called you to a "pivotal moment" in the life of this church: are you going to believe God and his word and move forward? Little did the children of Israel know God was about to perform an unexpected miracle for his people. They had already seen and witnessed God's power and deliverance while in bondage in Egypt. This should have been enough for them to believe God for their future. God seems to enjoy and allow pivotal moments to develop in us before He does His best work.

The God we serve is so awesome and powerful there is no need to look back. Stand strong, and move forward! Your future looks much brighter than your past.
