With the recent crisp chill in the evening air and shorter days of sunlight, we find Summer coming to an end and Fall beckoning at the doorstep. 

Alpen Schatz has had a whirlwind summer of wonderful events, including the exciting 4th of July Parade, where we brought many Alpen Schatz pups & fans together  to march in this quintessen tial   Telluride extravaganza.

German Biergartenfest in Morrison, CO



We also participated in our first De nver area festival, the German Biergartenfest, in Morrison, CO, where we met many more new Swiss,  Austrian and German enthusiasts. 

 

 


Our Alpine shop has been bustling all summer long and we have enjoyed all of the visitors as well as customers reaching out to us through on-line orders and phone calls.

DaVinci is enjoying his new little brother, Nik olai  who is growing like a weed. Now 9 months old, he is the "Belle of the Shop", enjoying his role (along with DaVinci) as official Alpen Schatz greeter, putting smiles on hundreds of visitors faces each  week.

Not only celebrated in its traditional home town of Munich, Germany, any longer, the Oktoberfest idea has spread to local towns and beer festivals across the country!

Alpen Schatz had the recent pleasure of gearing up the Festival Director, Steve Gumble, and his staff for the exciting three day Blues and Brews Festival held each year in picturesque Telluride, Colorado. The festival is amazing, with well known artists belting out the blues into our breathtaking box canyon nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.
