Greetings!

Greenbackers was one of the investor panelists at the Baker Botts Cleantech & Renewable pitch event held last month. Some of the latest and best technology innovation was showcased and we are currently supporting both Engenie (rapid EV charging network ) and Naked Energy (hybrid solar thermal-PV) in respective fund-raises.
In addition, we would like to introduce Green Running , a London based early-growth B2B2C business, selling their Verv® product through utilities and insurance companies. Verv® provides real time information about individual home electric appliances consumption, performance and operating cost. By achieving a much higher data sampling rate, many, many times higher than that of a smart meter, each appliance is monitored as on/off, to detect faults and provide hazard warnings
For a limited time, Green Running is now offering smaller investors the chance to participate in their success via the CrowdCube investment platform - with the ability to invest alongside lead investors at the same share price and terms, with EIS tax benefits. There is a lot of useful information about Green Running, this aspect of their fund-raise (£500K target) and a team-made video about the company which you can view.

Home automation, IoT deployment and ultra-smart monitoring is accelerating quickly and Green Running, with their Verv® product, is in an ideal position to exploit it.  Extensive trials are underway and 1200 units have been pre-sold. Through a partnership strategy with energy providers, insurance and telecoms companies, Verv® also has the potential to enable blockchain for energy trading.
