As we continue to move toward the completion of work on Phase 1 of M-59, our contractors have increased their crews to ensure that the project comes together in time to meet our late October expected completion.  There are multiple electrical crews working both day and night, paving crews placing HMA most nights of the week, and multiple crews removing pavement, placing concrete and getting the rest of the roadway reconstructed.  As the median is reshaped to final grade, the contractor will plant grass seed.  When the season for planting trees and other landscaping comes (next Spring), we will be placing those in the median as well.  The work at the crossover near Heydenreich has also begun.
